Well, according to the Altoona Mirror, that money came back to Blair County and helped fund 4 culvert repair projects along county road 101 in greenfield twp. The fee was created back in 2015 by the county commissioners, and it was made clear that the money generated would come back to Blair County for such projects. Blair is one of 25 counties across pa that pays the additional fee. Folks in both Centre and Cambria counties also pay the fee. Some $2 million in fees came back to Blair County to help pay for the culvert projects.
