A report by WTAJ indicates that police charged 25 year old Abigail Watson with allegedly bringing large quantities of drugs back to the Altoona area. Logan Twp police say they followed Watson to Pittsburgh on an alleged drug run, where she reportedly brought back fentanyl, crack cocaine and heroin. A k-9 officer detected drugs inside Watson’s vehicle during a search, and officers found nearly 2200 packets of heroin/fentanyl that had a street value of more than $43,000. Police then conducted controlled buys from Watson and she was arrested. She is charged with criminal conspiracy with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and using a communication facility for criminal use.
