A report by WTAJ indicates that students at Penn State associated with Thon have announced they have raised more than $1 million 3 months in advance of the annual 48 hour dance marathon. Thon students raised more than $1.6 million during a 17 day fund rasing effort entitled “dream forward”. The initial goal was to try and raise $850,000. To date, Thon has raised more than $219 million for the Four Diamonds fund, which helps with cancer research at Penn State Health Childrens Hospital. Thon is scheduled for Feb 16-18 at the Jordan Center.
