If a $2 bill was printed before 1976, it could actually be worth several thousand dollars. Newer bills after 1976, could also have significant value. Collectors are looking for bills that have special markings or oddities in them, and whether or not the bills were in circulation. Bills printed between 1862 and 1976 are in play.
