An Altoona man has been arrested for assaulting a pregnant woman. 25 year old Demetrius Piner was taken into custody recently, at his girlfriend’s house, after police spotted him thru one of her windows. According to police reports, Piner was wanted for an earlier assault of a pregnant woman that allegedly occurred last July. Piner is now in the Blair county lock-up in lieu of $100,000 bail.
