Several Altoona homes were damaged by fire early yesterday morning on Third Ave. When city firefighters arrived there was heavy fire and smoke to the home located at 1002 Third Ave. The fire had also spread to two neighboring homes. Reportedly the fires were brought under control quickly, however 7 people have been displaced. The Red Cross has been called in to help.
