News reports indicate that police were called out to Walnut Avenue between 27th and 28th streets Wednesday night around 11:20 for a report of gunshots heard. Officers reported that a black man was reported to be in the middle of the street hollering and shooting a gun into the air. The suspect took off in a dodge ram pickup truck before officers arrived.
