In a report by WTAJ, the state Dept of Human Services announced yesterday that the Blair County CYF office will be getting supervision from the higher office in Harrisburg. The state will immediately begin reviewing the offices operations, its budgeting strategy, policies, staff assignments and procedures. The office has been understaffed for some time, and has had repeated uncomplete and delinquent reports on cases. The offices is operating under its 4th provisional license. The state operations manager is expected to begin early next month.
