A report by television news indicates that firefighters were called out to the Penndot building in Hollidaysburg just before 5 am yesterday. According to Penndot, the fire damaged two brine tanks and a storage facility located behind the building. Penndot officials say that they think the blaze was caused by an electrical malfunction, but a state police fire marshal has been called into investigate. The fire will not hamper winter weather preparations or any day to day operations at the facility.
