News reports indicate that several volunteer fire crews were dispatched to a house fire on the 800 block of Frankstown Road last night. Fire crews had to use tanker trucks to fight the flames, because there were no hydrants in the area. When the call came in, there was a report of entrapment. 2 people and three pets were able to escape the house to safety. The flames were extinguished within 15 minutes, but caused moderate damage. Fire officials say the structure is salvageable, but will need plenty of work. 6 fire companies responded to the blaze, which is under investigation.
