In a report by WTAJ, charges are likely to be filed against 51 year old Desiree Peavler for involuntary manslaughter and homicide by vehicle for causing the death of 38 year old Christopher Cowfer in Sept of 2022. Peavler claims not to remember anything about the crash, but witnesses told police they saw her in the turning lane to go on ot stadium drive on E. Pleasant Valley Blvd just before she allegedly hit Cowfer’s motorcycle. Cowfer died at the scene. Charges against Peavler in this case are pending, and she has not been formally arraigned.
