A report in the Altoona Mirror indicates that former Curwensville High School baseball coach Thomas Harzinski was sentenced to 13-31 years behind bars for the repeated sexual assaults of at least two boys after he agreed to a plea bargain. Harzinski was accused after the victims told an adult what had happened on at least 3 occasions in Harzinski’s Olanta home, in Pittsburgh and at a campground in Williamsport. Harzinsik apparently owned up to his crimes in court, and said the court should take appropriate steps with his sentence. He will be on probation for 15 years after he is released from jail.
