A report by WTAJ indicates that the Jackson Twp supervisors pass a resolution at their meeting last week opposing the potential closing of the twp elementary school. But CC superintendent Jason Moore says that move was unnecessary. Moore said that a lot of misinformaiton was handed out to the supervisors, some buy people who should have known better. Moore said that one person told the supervisors that kids would be taught in trailers if the school closed, to which he responded by saying that information is false. Moore also said that if any school is scheduled to be closed, there must be a 3 month notice given and for a public hearing to be held, neither of which has been done.
