Medical workers in the state are reporting rising numbers of respiratory illnesses in children. In some cases, some parts of the state have seen RSV cases nearly triple since last month. Health officials are urging parents to practice good “health hygiene” with their kids and to be aware of when it makes sense to visit the ER. They say that while avoiding an illness is always a good idea, it is also important for kids to get to socialize and enjoy time with family and friends for the holidays.
