A Centre County judge has approved a bench trial for Scott Williams of Mifflin County, who was arrested in 2021, on DNA evidence in a State College rape case that occurred in 1995. Williams is charged with attacking and raping a woman near an apartment complex in State College and then leaving her for dead, the night before her graduation. The trial for Williams will be held next February.
