State Representative Abigail Salisbury, of Swissvale, and other members of the Pittsburgh-area Jewish community are hoping to change the date of the upcoming spring primary in Pennsylvania.  The election is currently scheduled for April 23rd, the first day of Passover, meaning Jews who observe the holiday will not be able to vote.  With the help of some other women who share the faith, Salisbury has baked dozens of loaves of babka bread to take to state lawmakers.  She plans to deliver the bread today and to use the opportunity to ask Pennsylvania leaders to move the election a week earlier.
