A pair of state Senators is proposing that the state move to decriminalize marijuana possession. That would mean Pennsylvania residents could travel to neighboring states that sell pot for recreational use and get the drug without worrying about being charged for possession. Representative Camera Bartolotta, a Republican from Washington, and Democratic State Senator Sharif Street of Philadelphia have issued a memo asking for co-sponsors for their proposed bills.
