The Steelers are investing in a community field and youth recreation facility at Hazelwood Green. The team announced the project yesterday in collaboration with the Richard King Mellon Foundation. The new field and rec complex will host youth football, including clinics with current and former Steelers, soccer, and other indoor sports. The Richard King Mellon Foundation is contributing ten-million dollars toward the construction. Construction begins next year with a grand opening date set for 2025.
