UPMC will soon require face masks be worn at all locations due to a rise in respiratory viruses. The mask mandate will go into effect next Wednesday, December 20th and will be enforced at all UPMC facilities, including hospitals, outpatient facilities and medical offices across Pennsylvania. UPMC says that respiratory viruses, such as COVID, influenza and RSV are on the rise across the state.
