Centre County State Representative, Democrat Scott Conklin has announced he is seeking his 10th term representing the 77th House District. The District includes part of State College and all of Philipsburg and Port Matilda boroughs. In a statement, Conklin said he would continue to fight for working families, women’s rights, public education and environmental protections. Conklin currently chairs the House State Government Committee, and also serves as treasurer for the state’s Democratic Party. Conklin was first elected in 2006.
