Sixteen people are homeless today after a massive fire ripped thru their apartment complex, on Wednesday evening, in Juniata County. Officials with the Mifflintown Hose Company # 1 said multiple fire companies were called in to battle the blaze in McAlisterville. Fire crews also rescued a dog from the second story of the building. No serious injuries were reported. The Red Cross is currently assisting the victims who lost their homes. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
