Triple A expects more vehicles on the road today as holiday travel continues. The club is predicting a surge in year-end travelers between 2:00 and 8:00 p.m. today and then again on Saturday. Many drivers are either returning home from Christmas trips or heading out of town for New Year’s Eve, contributing to the congestion. Triple A is predicting 104-million year-end holiday drivers, the second-busiest season on the road on record.
