An early morning shooting that occurred in Altoona on New Year’s Day is currently under investigation by city police. The shooting occurred in the 700 block of 4th street shortly after 3 am. Police say there were no victims but they learned there were several suspects that left the area by foot, heading in the direction of Kettle Street and Bell Avenue. Anyone with information or video is asked to contact the Altoona City Police department.
