A 47 Year old Curwensville man is behind bars today after he was charged with sexually assaulting a 14 year old girl. State Police in Clearfield have identified him as Robert Mallon III. Police report the teen was solicited for nude photos and allegedly “lured” from her home to engage in sex by Mallon. Authorities say Mallon started connecting with the teen thru Snapchat. Police say Mallon reportedly assaulted the teen inside his truck and then took nude photographs of her. State Police say when questioned Mallon did not deny the accusations. Mallon was arraigned yesterday on statutory sexual assault and various other charges. He is currently in the Clearfield County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bail.
