A Clearfield County man, along with another man from Oregon, have been sentenced for smuggling drugs from Pennsylvania to the West Coast. According to U.S. Attorney General Eric Olshan, 27 year old Derek Hillebrand of Troutville, along with 36 year old George Charlan from Oregon, were sentenced as part of a drug ring. Hillebrand will see 18 years in prison, while Charlan will get 15. Authorities say nearly one million dollars in drug profits were sent back and forth between the two coasts.
