The U.S. Congress is considering a measure that would require the Treasury Department to make a Roberto Clemente commemorative coin. New York Representative Adriano Espaillat has introduced a bill that would have a coin made and the legislation is being supported by area congressmen Chris Deluzio and Guy Reschenthaler. Roberto Clemente Junior says the measure is seeing support, and, he believes it can pass. The bill has been forwarded to the House Committee on Financial Services.
