Social media platform YouTube is coming under more scrutiny for a graphic video from a Pennsylvania man accused of beheading his father. The video allegedly circulated for hours after it was posted and state and federal prosecutors want to know why it wasn’t taken down sooner. Police said Wednesday that they charged 32-year-old Justin Mohn with first-degree murder and abusing a corpse at the family home in Levittown. He was arrested Tuesday. He allegedly shouted anti-government rhetoric and held up his father’s head on the recorded footage, which lasted 14 minutes. YouTube says the company removed the video, deleted Mohn’s channel and is tracking and removing further uploads.
