A Clearfield man is behind bars after he allegedly shot himself in the leg this weekend and then tried to blame the shooting on someone else. Authorities have identified him as 34 year old Brandon Hutson Sr. Police say when Hutson was taken to the hospital he was reportedly aggressive with both the hospital staff and police. Upon further investigation, police later learned Hutson shot himself in the leg inside his Market Street apartment. Hutson faces numerous charges including illegal firearms possession and felony aggravated assault. He is currently in the Clearfield County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
