A Lilly woman is behind bars today, accused of killing her five year old son, claiming voices told her to do so. Authorities have arrested 41 year old Jennifer Bowser who is facing a criminal homicide charge for the death of her son. Authorities say they were dispatched to her home on Cosey Lane on Monday after her five year old son went into cardiac arrest. Although CPR was performed, the child was unable to be revived. Reportedly Bowser had seen a doctor last month claiming to “hear voices.” Authorities say that when Bowser was questioned she allegedly told them she heard a voice that told her to smother her son. Bowser is facing a criminal homicide charge, and various other charges. After being denied bail she was placed in the Cambria County Jail. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 20th.
