A 60 year old Windber man was arrested earlier this week after he allegedly attacked an employer with a crowbar. Authorities in Somerset County have identified him as Christopher Dayton who reportedly entered Petrunak’s Store in Windber looking for work. When he was informed there was no work, he allegedly became violent striking the owner with a crowbar and then choking him. He also threatened an elderly customer. Dayton is facing numerous charges including felony aggravated assault. He was arraigned on Monday and is free on unsecured bail.
