UPMC has announced they have dropped their mask policy effective today. They made the decision because of the decrease in COVID-19, influenza and RSV transmission in the state. In December, UPMC reinstated its mandatory mask policy after seeing an increase in virus cases. UPMC reminds the community that each virus is still present and people can still be infected by them.
