Roadwork will begin today in Downtown Altoona in the following areas:
-11th Avenue between 12th and 16th Streets
-12th Street between 11th and 13th Avenues
-16th Street and 12th Avenue
There will be temporary parking restrictions along 11th Avenue between 12th and 16th Streets, but the road will remain open. Parking will be available in the 11th Avenue Parking Garage beside the Altoona Post Office, and in the Parking Lot behind Heritage Plaza. This project is expected to lost for about two months.
