The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections is looking for performers who’d like to visit and present their acts in state prisons. The department says in a news release that it wants to “‘temporarily lift inmates out of prison walls through meaningful programs and events.” Performers can include musicians, motivational speakers, or actors. You can also compete against inmates in sporting events such as softball, soccer, basketball, or volleyball. Performers are contracted and paid through each institution.
