59 cats have been rescued from yet another case of hoarding, this time in Cambria County. The Humane Society of Cambria County took 49 of the 59 cats, in what they are calling an extreme hoarding case. The Central Pa., Humane Society in Altoona, took in the other ten. The cats were rescued from a hoarding situation on Monday, all of them in need of veterinary care. Fosters, adopters and donations are very much needed for both shelters.
The Cambria County Shelter is asking for:
-Adult cat food (The Purina Cat Chow in the blue bag)
-Purina wet food
-Litter boxes
-Non-clumping litter
-Monetary donations
Some cats may be pregnant so they are also asking for Purina Kitten Chow and Fancy Feast Kitten wet food and other kitten supplies.
