A Blair County bridge that has been closed for two years, is scheduled to be repaired this year. It’s Bridge 69 on Everett Road in Freedom Township. The bridge was closed in 2022 after it was struck during a construction project, forcing motorists to use side streets. The repairs on the bridge are expected to be paid for with general fund money and does not involve PennDOT support. Reportedly, permanent and temporary easement rights have to be signed and recorded before repair work can begin. Work is not expected to begin until after June first.
