A 36 year old Puerto Rican man is behind bars today after he allegedly sexually abused a Centre County Teen. Ferguson Township police have identified him as Victor Acevedo-Genera. Reportedly the teen’s mother discovered sexual messages between her 17 year old daughter and Acevedo-Genera. When police spoke to the victim, she reportedly claimed to have been repeatedly assaulted by him. Acevedo-Genera was arraigned on Wednesday on charges including rape forcible compulsion, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and numerous other charges. He is currently in the Centre County Prison. Bail has been denied.
