Flood warnings are in effect in Blair County, and thru-out other parts of the Commonwealth, as flooding continues due to excessive rainfall. The National Weather Service says the flood warning continues thru late tomorrow morning. The weather service says the Little Juniata River at Spruce Creek is expected to rise above flood stage later this morning, and the Juniata River in Williamsburg rose above flood stage last night around midnight. Because of already saturated grounds and continued rainfall, be on the lookout for flash flooding and the possibility of traffic delays. A number of area schools are delayed or cancelled today. For a listing of those schools go to WRTA.com, and look for the closings and delay banner at the top of the page. Finally, with temps falling into the 30s tonight, some snow could be added into the mix tomorrow morning.
