A 21 year old Bedford man is facing charges after a passenger in his SUV was seriously injured in a crash that occurred in February. Dakota Bush of New Paris, was driving the vehicle on a suspended driver’s license when the crash occurred on February 29th at the intersection of Quaker Valley Road and Salas Hill in East St. Clair Township. Witnesses told authorities they saw the SUV run off the highway and swerve before fishtailing back into oncoming traffic, and was then hit by a a white Ford driven by another motorist. The rear of the SUV was heavily damaged and resulted in serious injuries to a passenger in his vehicle. Bush was arraigned yesterday before being allowed to leave on $35,000 unsecured bail. He is charged with numerous counts including felony accident involving death or injury while not licensed.
