PennDOT has announced that the truss bridge spanning Moshannon Creek along Presqueisle Street in Chester Hill Borough will be removed beginning next Monday. The bridge is located near the Clearfield/Centre County line. The bridge was closed in 2019 after an inspection showed the bridge in need of extensive repairs. The demolition project is expected to be completed in June. In the meantime, PennDOT will continue to work with local authorities, in finding funding sources for projects to improve local roads impacted by the removal of the bridge.
