A mistrial has been declared involving a DuBois man who was accused of sexually abusing a girl, after a Clearfield County jury was deadlocked on a verdict. Sean Lechiara was charged with over 100 charges including rape of a child, deviate sexual intercourse and other counts. Lechiara appeared in court this week and following two days of testimony the jury was hung on a verdict. Clearfield County DA Ryan Sayers says prosecutors plan to submit the case for retrial.
