A new report listing the most welcoming states says that Pennsylvania is not very welcoming. The report was compiled by the language learning platform Preply, which surveyed thousands of people across the country regarding greetings, how they welcome others, and more. Pennsylvania was listed as the fourth least welcoming state, coming in 47th place. Topping the list as the most friendly states are Vermont, Maine, and Hawaii.
