The results are in from the contest for the Coolest Thing Made in Pennsylvania. For the second year in a row, statewide voters have chosen Primanti Brothers sandwiches. The product beat out Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, which are made in Hershey, for the top spot. The Primanti Brothers sandwich shops are from the Pittsburgh area. Their classic offering includes two slices of Italian bread, a grilled meat of choice, melted provolone, vinegar-based coleslaw, sliced tomatoes, and French fries. The Pennsylvania Chamber held a March Madness-style-bracket contest over the past few months to determine the winners.
