An Altoona man will be spending the next 5-20 years behind bars after rendering guilty pleas yesterday to charges he had inappropriate interactions with a 14-year-old girl which included exchanging sexually explicit text messages and photos. 32 year old Steven Ellis, has been in the Blair County Prison since last September. He pled guilty to 14 charges including felony counts of attempted statutory sexual assault, and possession of child porn, among others. Once released, Ellis will have to register his address and ID to state police for the rest of his life.
