A  Vice Principal at Chestnut Ridge Middle School  who was accused of failing to properly report allegations of sexual assault involving a middle school boy, has had some of the charges withdrawn or dismissed.  37 year old Patrick Isgan was charged last month after an investigation into a number of complaints regarding a 12-year-old boy who had been repeatedly assaulting other students on a school bus.  Authorities say they had been notified of the allegations last November, however the school failed to properly report the allegations to Childline, which is a hotline  set up by the state to report suspected child abuse. Last month, Isgan had his bail reduced from $1 million to $100,000. Isgan is still facing 51 misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child and numerous other charges. His next court date has not been scheduled.
