The annual PA Falcon Cam is in operation in Harrisburg. Peregrine falcons have nested on the 15th floor of the Rachel Carson State Office Building in the city’s downtown for many years. The mother falcon has laid five eggs, with all but one hatched. That one is expected to come out any day. The state Department of Environmental Protection operates the four-camera system and produces the Falcon Wire News for updates. Those wishing to check in on the mother and her chicks may do so through DEP-dot-PA-dot-gov.
