An Altoona man was arrested last Thursday evening, after beating another man with his fists and a toy crossbow. Arrested was 34 year old John McConnell Jr., who was charged for attacking another man over an alleged love triangle. McConnell was arraigned last Friday morning on charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats and numerous other offenses. He was released after posting $50,000 bond.
