An Altoona woman has been charged with leaving young children home alone while she got her hair and nails done. 32 year old Chelsea Hensley was arraigned yesterday and facing felony charges of endangering the welfare of children. When authorities arrived at the home they found an 11 year old boy left to care for his 3 year old brother. They also reportedly found moldy food and dirty dishes in the kitchen, a toilet that did not work, animal droppings on the floor and dirty diapers found throughout the home. Hensley was released on $15,000 unsecured bail. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 22nd.
