There may be quite a few unmowed lawns in State College this month. Borough officials approved a resolution to lift Grass & Weeds code enforcement so that pollinators may flourish. “No Mow May” notes that this is the formative time for pollinator and insect species, which birds and other wildlife rely upon. Participants must register with the borough by May 10th and display a yard sign. The ordinance enforcement will resume on June 3rd.
