A Boswell man has been arrested after authorities in Somerset County found child porn on his computer. Police say the investigation began in 2021 after Snapchat reported the images of suspected child abuse being uploaded, from an IP address is Jenner Township. Yesterday morning, state police executed a search warrant at the home of 21-year-old Declan Heider. Authorities reportedly found numerous files depicting child sexual abuse on Heider’s computer. Heider is facing numerous charges including felony child pornography and criminal use of a communication device. He is currently in the Somerset County Prison where bail has been set at $50,000.
