New details are being released after a person was found dead inside the Allegheny County home of a man who, just earlier in the day, tried to shoot a pastor in a church. On Sunday morning, 26-year-old Bernard Polite allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at Pastor Glenn Germany at Jesus’ Dwelling Place Church in North Braddock. Polite was tackled by church goers and no injuries were reported, but when police searched his North Braddock home, they found 56-year-old Derek Polite dead from gunshot wounds. There is no word on who shot Derek Polite, while Bernard Polite faces several charges from the church incident, including attempted homicide.
